Welcome back everyone, we have lots of exciting learning opportunities planned for this half term. These include: exploring the history of ancient Greece; learning about electricity and what makes a living thing in science and creating our own defeat the monster tales in English. We have just begun to read 'A Girl of Ink and Stars.' This is a fantastic book, full of intrigue, adventure and friendship and I am very excited to share it with the class. As usual, any work you can do with your children on Times Table Rockstars, Mathletics or through looking at their KIRFs will be greatly appreciated. 

Ensuring your child also has time to read on a daily basis is also essential- and is the single greatest way to make a difference in their academic attainment in the long run.

PE will continue to be on a Friday where possible. However, this is often subject to change due to weather and the lessons that week. As such, we would be grateful if your child could have their PE kit in school all week.
