Governors Pen Portraits
Dan Lister, Co-opted Governor - Term of Office 21/9/17 to 20/9/21
I am the father of two pupils at Gayton Primary and was elected Chair of the Governing Body in September 2017. Professionally I am a Director at Kantar Millward Brown wholly owned by WPP and part of Kantar Group. I became a governor primarily as I wished to take an active role in my children's education. I am interested in helping to set the general direction and strategy of the school, ensuring the standards remain high and holding staff accountable where necessary all of which the governing body have an instrumental part to play.

I have taught in many schools around the county and was Headteacher of Cogenhoe and Greens Norton Primary Schools. In addition I was a Primary School Inspector with the Local Authority before I retired. I am a keen gardener; enjoy the theatre and have been an active member of The Northampton Gilbert & Sullivan Group since 1976. I now sing with Blisworth Community Choir and Hunsbury Voices. I am an Education Volunteer at The Canal Museum; the company archivist and a keep supporter of a locally based opera company called Opera della Luna.
Andrew Henry-Moore, Staff Elected Governor - Term of Office 1/9/15 to 31/8/19
I have been the Staff Governor for the Forest Federation for over two years now. In my role, I hopefully bring the staff's perspective to strategic governance matters that arise and can use my teaching expertise, and previous scientific career, to provide insight into all aspects of governance. As a governor, I am particularly interested in Gifted and Talented progression within schools, staff and pupil well-being and data analysis. Currently, I am a member of the Personnel and Wellbeing committee and the Curriculum and Standards committee. It is great to be part of the governance team for the Forest Federation and nice to be able to give something extra back to schools that I am passionate about.
Mary Koniewienko, Associate Governor - Term of Office 21/9/17 to 20/9/21
My association started at Gayton School in 2001 when I became a 'Friend' of the school. I then joined the governing body in 2007, as a parent governor, during which time I was on the premises and health and safety committee. I have an understanding of the needs of staff and teachers and the best for our children.
Kevin West, Foundation Governor - Term of Office 21/9/17 to 20/9/21
I am a solicitor working at the Crown Prosecution Service and the father of two children at Stoke Bruerne Primary School. I am a very hands on dad and involved in every aspect of their lives both at school and outside. I have learnt a lot about the education system and how children can be supported in it. I have a very strong belief in the importance of education for all children and especially those who have special difficulties. I feel that I have a great deal of personal and professional experience which I can bring to the role of governor.
