Our three schools started their journey together in January 2011. The schools joined as a federation in September 2012. This began with our Headteacher Mrs Hollis taking over headship of three schools. Things have gone from strength to strength in our forward thinking federation of schools. The Federation secured the schools future making our schools more sustainable and stronger together. In 2015 Gayton Primary joined the federation and in September 2016 became formally federated with The Forest CE Federation.
We enjoy joint celebration events, residential visits, trips and sporting events. This enables all the children to come together to socialise, have fun, make firm friendships and compete in sporting events. When our children begin their transition into secondary education they have already made firm friendships from across the federation of schools which benefits them in the large secondary school environments. Not only do our children benefit from our federation, staff are able to plan and train together, giving the schools a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
We are extremely proud of everything the federation has achieved since forming. Some of our achievements are:
- We are recognised leaders in education and support other schools across the County.
- We provide a first class education with a creative curriculum, providing continuous provision.
- Excellent results.
