Our Children In Need Day
The Children have had great fun learning all about Tudors. They have made some beautiful Tudor houses, creative works and learnt all about Henry VIII's many wives.
Our school council popped along to our village hall. The children loved integrating with the community, singing, serving food and even doing the washing up.
Service at out Local Church St Mary's
The children took a walk down to the village hall to do some singing with our local community. They learnt new songs which they loved sharing with everyone when they returned.
We raised money for the Australian Bush Fires
The Children celebrated Australia Day by making food on the "BBQ", Baking & arts and crafts on things all relating to Australia.
For Mental Health awareness week we created #Fittlebury. Each day the children got involved in an activity from Boxercise to Basketball. At the end of the week we invited parents in to run the daily mile with us & get involved in activities set out to promote good health & well being. It was lots of fun & bought everyone together.
Today we has a special visit from Rev Paul who came in carried out an assembly for the children. The children loved discussing what they could give up for lent & understanding the meaning behind it.
After School FOWS invited everyone in & made pancakes. These were very well received.
