Staff

Mrs Hollis is our fantastic Executive Headteacher. She has dedicated her life to education and has a real passion for innovative teaching and learning. She started her career as a classroom teacher, has worked as a Foundation Stage leader in education and is now a successful Headteacher across our Federation. She is a local leader in education and a partnership Headteacher within the Local Authority. 

 

 


Mrs Powell is our Deputy Headteacher and Special Needs Co-ordinator. She has worked in the Federation for 12 years and has experience teaching children from Reception through to Year 6. Mrs Powell works alongside Mrs Hollis to run the Federation schools and can be seen in schools each week. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact her.

 


Mrs Townsend is the super School Business Manager across the whole Federation and is regularly in the office at each of our five schools. She has been with us many years and began her Federation career at Whittlebury School.

 

 


Mrs Reeve is our Office Manager who works across the whole Federation. Mrs Reeve previously worked at Whittlebury and Gayton Primary School. She is a friendly lady who is always willing to help in any way she can. 

 

 


Mrs Tyler-Bedford is our efficient and helpful School Administrator who runs the school office. She knows everything about what is going on and keeps everything running smoothly. Mrs Tyler-Bedford is friendly and welcoming and always goes out of her way to help our parents with any questions or problems they may have. Her kindness and dedication make a real difference to the whole school community. 

 



Mr Mcloughlin is our Assistant Head and Class 3 teacher. Mr Mcloughlin started with us in September 2017 and has a huge impact within the school. Mr Mcloughlin brings great energy and enthusiasm to the classroom. He has a real passion for Maths and PE, making lessons exciting and engaging for the children. Mr M encourages pupils to challenge themselves, work hard, and enjoy learning. His positive attitude and dedication helps to inspire the class to do their very best every day. 


Mrs Boulton is our wonderful part-time class 2 teacher, alongside Mrs Whitbread. Mrs Boulton joined Gayton in September 2019. Mrs Boulton previously worked at our Tiffield Primary School teaching class 1. Mrs Boulton brings lots of fun and energy to the classroom. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm creates a warm and happy learning environment for all the children. Mrs Boulton is especially fabulous at art and loves encouraging creativity, helping pupils express themselves and enjoy their work- making learning exciting and memorable for everyone


Mrs Whitbread is our part-time Class 2 teacher who works alongside Mrs Boulton. Mrs Whitbread joined us in September 2021. Mrs Whitbread is kind, approachable and always ready to support the children. She creates a welcoming classroom where children feel comfortable asking questions and trying new things. Mrs Whitbread has a real passion for computing and enjoys helping the children develop their skills and confidence with technology. Her enthusiasm and encouragement make learning exciting and engaging for the whole class.

 


Miss Snook is our Class 1 teacher who has a real passion for early years' education. Miss Snook is dedicated to helping young children develop confidence and independence as they begin their learning journey. Miss Snook creates a nurturing and supportive classroom where every child feels encouraged to try their best. She also loves teaching Geography and enjoys helping the children explore and learn about the world around them.

 


Mrs Blackwell is our Higher Level Teaching assistant, who supports our children across the whole school. She is always ready to help and works hard to make sure every child feels supported and included in their learning. Mrs Blackwell has a real passion for the outdoors and enjoys encouraging children to explore, learn and be active outside. Her enthusiasm and caring nature make positive difference to the whole school.  

 

 


Miss Dixey is our wonderful Teaching Assistant based in class 1 who is kind, caring, and always supportive of the children. She works closely with the children to help them feel confident and happy in their learning. Miss Dixey is fantastic at teaching phonics and helps the children build strong reading skills in a fun and encouraging way. Her gentle and supportive approach makes a big difference in the classroom.

 


Ms Slack is our fantastic Teaching Assistant based in Class 2 who provides wonderful support to the children in the classroom. She is very caring and always takes the time to help the children feel confident in their learning. Ms Slack creates a real buzz for learning and encourages the children to do their best. Her kind nature and enthusiasm make a big difference, and the children all enjoy learning with her. 

 


Mrs Harris is our Specialist Pastoral Support Assistant who works across the Federation. She has a good relationship with all the children and knows exactly how to help them reach their potential. She works with them on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups as required. Mrs Harris is passionate about PE and enjoys supporting the children in various sporting events within school, the Forest Federation and at inter-school competitions and events.

 

 


Mrs Cheeseman and Mrs Smith are our lunchtime supervisors. They do a fantastic job servicing dinners and helping to make lunchtime a fun and enjoyable part of the school day. They are always friendly and welcoming, making sure the children feel happy and well looked after. Their positive attitude and kindness help create a lovely atmosphere in the dining hall where everyone can relax and enjoy their lunch together.
