Across The Federation, we try to prepare children for starting school in September by holding several familiarisation events in the summer term. Parents of pupils enrolled for September will receive notification of the timetable for these events, which include taster afternoons and a meeting for parents, so we can make your child’s transition into Reception Class as easy as possible for them.

Reception Admissions for September 2027

If you are looking to apply for a reception place for September 2027, we have opportunities for parents and children to visit our schools.

• Gayton CE Primary: Thursday 8th October, 9.15am and Thursday 23rd November, 9.15am
• Stoke Bruerne CE Primary: Thursday 1st October, 9.15am and Thursday 26th November, 9.15am
• Tiffield CE Primary: Tuesday 29th September, 9.15am and Tuesday 24th November, 9.15am
• Whittlebury CE Primary: Wednesday 30th September, 9.15am and Wednesday 25th November, 9.15am
• Yardley Gobion CE Primary: Monday 28th September, 9.15am and Monday 30th November, 9.15am

For those not able to attend one of these face-to-face meetings, there is also an online meeting which will be led by Stuart Guest (Executive Headteacher) along with representatives from each of the schools.
